York Driveways Enquire

Where we work

We lay driveways throughout York and in the villages within easy reach of the ring road. Each part of the city has its own housing and its own driveway questions.

Acomb, Dringhouses and Woodthorpe

West York's inter-war and post-war semis, many with front gardens deep enough for parking and old concrete strips to replace. Block paving and resin are both popular here.

Clifton, Rawcliffe and Skelton

Victorian villas and terraces in Clifton, much of it a conservation area, with 1960s and later homes towards Rawcliffe and Skelton. Some streets lie close to the Ouse, so drainage needs thought.

Heworth, Tang Hall and Osbaldwick

A mix of 1930s semis, council-built homes and older terraces in the east of the city. Frontages vary a lot, so we check depth and kerb access early.

Fulford and Heslington

Large Edwardian and Victorian houses in Fulford, older village homes in Heslington. Gravel and sett-edged drives often suit, and many properties are in conservation areas.

Huntington and New Earswick

Family homes from many eras on the north-east side of York. Longer tarmac or block paved drives are common.

Haxby, Wigginton and Strensall

Large villages to the north with generous plots and plenty of 1970s to 1990s houses. Wider drives and turning areas are popular.

Copmanthorpe, Bishopthorpe and the Poppletons

Villages to the south and west with brick cottages, newer homes and conservation areas at their centres. Gravel and clay pavers sit well here.

Other places nearby

We also cover Dunnington, Elvington, Rufforth, Askham Bryan, Holgate, South Bank, Nether Poppleton and Murton. If you're not sure, just ask.
